Since I was younger I wasn’t always sure as to what profession I would like to join, it’s switched between wanting to be a superhero or zookeeper. Since my volunteer work began it’s become apparent that I wanted to work with children. I am a fun loving outgoing and sociable guy. Any chance I get to see, help or teach children to learn brightens my day. I love the satisfaction of seeing the ‘light go on’ moment when they finally understand a problem. This made me realize that I can still be a superhero, maybe not with a mask or cape but not all heroes wear capes, you can make a real difference without one.
I am passionate about more men coming into education settings, positive male role models are so important for children’s development and understanding of the world.
I work at preschool on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
